​​Join us for an evening where suspense simmers and stories unfold at Stewing Over Mysteries, hosted by the Friends of the JHPL at the historic Publick House in Sturbridge, Massachusetts.

This special literary dinner event features bestselling author Tess Gerritsen, acclaimed for her gripping thrillers and the beloved Rizzoli & Isles series.

Set against the warm, classic New England ambiance of the Publick House, guests will enjoy a delicious meal while diving into the art of mystery writing with Tess Gerritsen. She will read from her latest book, share insights about her writing, and conclude with an audience Q&A - offering fans a rare opportunity to engage directly with one of the genre’s most influential voices.

Whether you’re a devoted mystery reader, an aspiring writer, or simply looking for a memorable night out, Stewing Over Mysteries promises great food, lively conversation, and plenty of intrigue.

Tickets include a dinner of beef stew or vegetarian/gluten-free butternut squash bisque, rolls, coffee/tea and dessert.

All tickets are non-refundable, but we will do our best to help you resell them if possible.

 

Please note:  The Stewing Over Mysteries event is not a fundraiser.  The Friends of the JHPL work to make sure ticket prices are as affordable for all as possible.  Donations to Zeffy help maintain this fee-free platform, but they do NOT go to the Joshua Hyde Public Library and are not required.  You can change the amount of your donation to Zeffy with the drop down menu at checkout.
